Ovi Verona and I took a trip to Flamingo in Everglades National Park for some fishing and a little shooting. It is an amazing area with all the wetland birds you could hope to see. Many Pelicans and Osprey, Egrets and Herons, and even a few American Bald Eagles.

I caught a few shots as we fished the Flamingo fishery, Speckled Trout, Snook and Grouper were the order of the day, all short so of course they went back. And later we made a stop at Royal Palm, Anhinga Trail, a tourist loop over a wetlands that is one of the first stops in the park.

I loved the area, and the landscape was different than anything I've ever seen before, like a flat dry land waiting for a deluge. Small growth Mangroves scattered in some areas looked almost surrealistic.
